What is SBDM?
SBDM stands for Site Based Decision Making. The SBDM Council is the decision making and policy setting body of Maxwell.
Some decisions are made by the council. Some decisions are made by the Principal during implementation of policy adopted by the SBDM Council. Some decisions are made by the Fayette County School Board. The SBDM council makes policy decisions for Maxwell based on input from the SBDM committees. To request an issue be discussed by the SBDM Council use the SBDM Inclusion Form.

All meetings take place the first Tuesday of the month from 3:45 PM to 5:45 PM in the school library.
2007-2008 Committee Meeting Dates
Each committee will set its own meeting dates and times. Please see the individual committee pages for information about when they will meet. Any parents or guardian my join or visit a committee. Parents wishing to join a committee should contact the school Principal.
