Call to Order
|
The Maxwell Escuela de Immersion en Espanol PTA Board
meeting was called to order at 6:35 p.m. Tuesday, December 6, 2004 by
President Sherri Ball. Deanna Rawlings as recording secretary.

Roll Call
|
Those in attendance were: Jody Casella, Sherri Ball,
Deanna Rawlings, Amy Hall, Stephanie Hamilton, Katherine Marchaterre, Ann
Armbruster, Tammy Marguiles, Monica Fowler, Melissa Wallace, Talett
Lee-Williams.

Approval of Minutes
|
The minutes of the November, 2004 board meeting were
printed and distributed. Correction: Kristin Helmuth was in attendance,
not absent, Delete “Wendy Basil, Homeroom Parent Coordinator” from 6th
paragraph. The minutes were approved as corrected.

Correspondence
|
Sherri read a letter from Central Office stating that
the walk or bike to school campaign was a huge success. They thanked Zinnia
Robinson especially for coordinating the effort. Maxwell had the second
highest percentage of children walking or biking to school, and for that
the Health Dept. is awarding us $250.00 to support the PTA’s health and
fitness programs.
She also read a thank you note from the teachers for the
PTA’s support and generosity to them and the school, as well as the idea
for the holiday money collection for the teachers.

|
Treasurer, Ann Armbruster, distributed the current
financial report.
